OYA lace is worked with a very fine needle, or crocheted by the villagers of Anatolia, using a thread enhanced with pearls to highlight the motifs. An arabesque design that celebrates the eternal feminine!

The Sonya necklace is a fine lace crochet necklace handmade by a group of Anatolian women with whom Karawan has created its Oya jewellery collection. This necklace was made by village women in Anatolia. The result of meticulous needlework to create a fine lace, typical of the techniques used in the region.
Available in a range of colours, with a length of 45 cm.
Oya is a traditional form of Ottoman lace from Anatolia. It is made using needlework with intricate designs, often embellished with pearls.
