Woven flat on a white organic cotton chain, the foutas in the Hammam collection are available in 9 colours and 2 sizes. Lightweight and full of coverage, they encourage freedom of movement. They are created in cooperation with a weaving workshop in Turkey that meets the social and environmental standards of GOTS ethical certification.

The Hammam collection is characterised by a predominance of bold colours, enhanced by stripes and hand-knotted white fringes. The tones and the tight, flat weave emphasise a sober, refined style. The white of the weaving warp recalls the architecture of traditional hammams and evokes the atmosphere of oriental purification rituals.

An ethical, multi-functional textile with a timeless style.
The Hammam Karawan fouta is characterised by its flat weave. This weaving method produces a linen with a smooth, uniform texture. The hand-knotted fringes give them an authentic, handmade touch.
The collection is woven in Turkey by a semi-artisanal weaving unit with which Karawan develops its exclusive collections, in organic cotton. The workshop employs around thirty people. The entire manufacturing process is GOTS-certified, guaranteeing ethical working conditions, wages and regulations that respect people and the environment.
