DAWN OF TIME
This collection of brass jewellery is inspired by the great civilisations and crafts. The pieces are hand-worked with a finesse reminiscent of ancestral techniques, giving a unique and precious character to each piece of jewellery. The name ‘Dawn of Time’ is a reference to durability, eternal beauty and history that transcends time. Our brass collection is made in Jaipur in the Abishek workshop, where some twenty talented craftsmen create traditional jewellery. The workshop complies with BIT standards and ensures full traceability of materials and processes.
A line from the Arkeos range
Arkeos is the result of a close encounter between Christine Delpal, the creator of Karawan, and the openwork skills of expert hands, heirs to the Mughal art of chiselling motifs. It's a creative exchange between two cultures, two viewpoints rich in their differences, for a collection that builds bridges between East and West. The pieces are handcrafted by artisans in Jaipur, the jewel city of craftsmanship in Rajasthan (India).
As if extracted from the depths of the past and brought back to light... These pieces seem to have come down through the ages, weathered by the sand and time of the vast eastern plains.
The Dawn of Time style
The Dawn of Time collection features rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces with mysterious, timeless designs. Crafted from carefully worked brass, these pieces feature hammered or textured finishes reminiscent of ancient objets d'art. The zirconium inlays, often arranged in circular or geometric patterns, add a touch of modern brilliance, enhancing each piece of jewellery. The combination of the deep black of the zirconiums and the golden lustre of the brass creates a striking contrast, evoking both the mystery of the night and the brilliance of the stars.
