Black soap
The hammam ritual begins with the use of Karawan's black soap, certified organic. Made from a traditional recipe, this olive oil-based soap eliminates impurities, opens the pores and rids the skin of dead cells without harming it. Kessa glove
The kessa glove is an essential accessory for the hammam ritual. Rhassoul clay
Rhassoul is a soap-forming clay extracted from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Used as a mask for the face, body or hair, it absorbs toxins and regulates sebum secretion. Certified Cosmos Natural by Ecocert, Karawan's rhassoul clay is rich in minerals. It purifies and softens the skin while respecting its natural balance.

HAMMAM
The word ‘hammam’ has its origins in the Arabic term ‘ḥammām’ (حمّام), meaning ‘hot water’. A legacy of the Roman thermal baths, the hammam is all at once a place of relaxation, purification and sociability. Since ancient times, it has consisted of a warm room for preparation (the Roman tepidarium), a hot room for perspiring and purifying (the caldarium) and a cold room for cooling off (the frigidarium). The heat opens the skin's pores, and sweating combined with the application of olive oil soap helps to eliminate impurities and toxins.
