The Dawn of Time collection of brass jewellery, designed by Karawan creator Christine Delpal, is a tribute to the ancient treasures discovered by archaeologists. Somewhere between the archaic and the modern, these jewels tell a story, as if they came from a forgotten civilisation, reinterpreted with contemporary elegance.

A ring with superimposed lines of black oxidised brass and gold-plated brass, punctuated by a zirconium-encrusted band that looks like a black diamond.
This ring, with its exclusive design created by Karawan, is hand-worked in Jaïpur, in a family-run workshop that meets BIT standards, with which Karawan has been developing its creations for 15 years.

Zirconium silicate is a natural stone. Once heated and cut, it can take on a variety of colours and a magnificent brilliance. Zirconium oxide is a synthetic stone that has become the material of choice for the creation of quality jewellery, thanks to its aesthetic qualities, which are close to those of a black diamond. It is also virtually scratch-proof and extremely resistant.
