The Dawn of Time collection of brass jewellery created by Karawan founder Christine Delpal is a tribute to the ancient treasures discovered by archaeologists. Somewhere between the archaic and the modern, these jewels tell a story, as if they came from a forgotten civilisation, reinterpreted with contemporary elegance. Zirconium is a natural stone, zirconium silicate. Once heated and cut, this stone can take on a variety of colours and a magnificent brilliance. Synthetically produced zirconium oxide has become the material of choice for quality jewellery, thanks to its aesthetic qualities, which resemble black diamonds. It is also virtually scratch-proof and extremely resistant.
