The Dawn of Time collection of brass jewellery created by Karawan founder Christine Delpal is a tribute to the ancient treasures discovered by archaeologists. This Dawn of Time bracelet consists of an open circle of gilded-plated brass, inlaid with 2 lines of zirconium oxide. It is hand-crafted in Jaipur, the jewel of Rajasthan, where stone-cutting and faceting expertise excel.

Gilded-plated brass bracelet inlaid with zirconium - Handcrafted in our partner workshop in Jaipur over the last 15 years, in compliance with ILO standards.
Zirconium is a natural stone, zirconium silicate. Once heated and cut, this stone can take on various colours and a magnificent brilliance. Synthetically produced zirconium oxide has become the material of choice for the production of quality jewellery, thanks to its aesthetic qualities, which are close to those of a black diamond. It's also virtually scratch-proof and extremely hard-wearing.
