Karawan's potassium alum powder comes in a ‘salt shaker’ box so you can gently apply the alum salt to your underarms or feet. It can be sprinkled into socks or shoes. Alum covers the skin with a thin film of mineral salts, preventing the development of the bacteria responsible for unpleasant odours. Its haemostatic properties help stop bleeding after shaving.

Karawan's alum powder is a natural substance of exclusively mineral origin that comes in the form of a salt box. The alum is dissolved and recrystallised before being transformed into talc.
Sought-after by sports enthusiasts, alum powder has astringent properties that help to contract tissues and reduce pore size, thereby limiting perspiration from the armpits, hands and feet. It also soothes itching caused by insect bites and helps heal skin after razor burn.
In talc form, alum can be sprinkled on all parts of the body, in socks or directly on the feet to prevent excessive sweating.
Alum powder is used to soothe razor burn or after waxing to help healing. Fragrance-free and free from synthetic additives, it is an alternative for reactive skin and can be used daily, with an effectiveness of over 24 hours.
Potassium alum powder can be used as an active ingredient in the manufacture of homemade (DIY) water-based cosmetics, such as creams, gels or lotions.
