This Ayurvedic Turmeric Soap is a purifying soap that gently cleanses and purifies the skin. It is suitable for all skin types. Used for centuries in Ayurvedic tradition, the ‘curcumin’ molecule contained in the turmeric rhizome is renowned for its antioxidant properties.

Turmeric
Turmeric is a plant native to Southeast Asia that has been used for centuries for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Its characteristic pigment, curcumin, is a yellow-orange powder used by Indian women as a skincare mask. Combined with orange and clove essential oils, which enrich Karawan soap, it has antimicrobial properties that benefit the skin.
According to the principles of Ayurveda, of which it is a recognised ingredient, turmeric is particularly effective in purifying and soothing the Vâta dosha, associated with the elements ‘air’ and ‘space’.
